New for winter 2009, the Kutch 4 Poster Bed is designed by the Natural Bed Company and made in India from solid Sheshamwood - also called Indian Rosewood. In developing our own interpretation of the Indian Colonial four poster bed style we have incorporated the same carved details on the headboard and elegantly tapering legs that inspired the Kandahar and Khyber beds.

The handwoven raw silk canopy is decorated with dozens of small shesha mirrors which catch the light - like a myriad of stars!

No need to worry about getting the bed up the stairs and into position, the legs are in two parts, the whole bed is flat packed – and rock solid when (easily!) assembled.

Like all the Indian furniture it has a slightly rustic quality which is part of the charm of the style.
